Energy 4 Impact is continuously looking for new talent to join its teams in sub-Saharan Africa and to broaden its network of consultants and experts in the region. We particularly welcome applications from people with the following backgrounds:

Programme managers for multi-million dollar donor-funded programmes in sub-Saharan Africa. We are especially interested in hearing from those with experience of multi-country, private sector driven, energy access programmes.

Technical experts and advisors in pico renewables, solar home systems (SHS) and mini-grids in sub-Saharan Africa.

Financial, commercial and technical advisors for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (mSMEs) with experience in off-grid energy.

Emerging markets/impact/renewable energy investment professionals, or managers and developers of capital access and financial deepening schemes in sub-Saharan Africa. We are particularly interested in those that have experience of financial technology and big data companies in East Africa.

Experts in monitoring and evaluation, particularly those with experience tracking complex multi-country programmes.

Market research and report writers with experience of energy access

Programme officers/assistants that have experience in multi-projects support and administration/finance support, project report writing and review and general coordination to support programmes/projects delivery.

Our countries of operation are Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Senegal, but we are also looking at opportunities in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana and Sierra Leone. We are very keen to hear from local candidates that are able to work without a visa in the African country concerned. Good knowledge of French would be an advantage.
