Results-based financing for installment and Paygo solar water pumping
Solar water pumping companies interested in participating in a Results-Based Financing scheme are invited to submit proposals for supplying and installing solar water pumping and irrigation systems for small-scale farmers in Rwanda's eastern province, utilising Pay-As-You-Go or other instalment-based business models.
This initiative is part of the PURE.Ag project, which seeks to promote the growth of the solar irrigation market in Rwanda. By addressing the affordability challenge associated with high upfront costs, the aim is to empower farmers to improve productivity and increase incomes through the adoption of renewable energy technologies.
To be eligible, companies must be formally registered in Rwanda, have a physical presence in the country, and demonstrate experience in supplying, installing, and servicing solar water pumping systems.
Interested parties are invited to express their interest by submitting a formal notification by 4th April 2024.
