AGreenLab invites applications from young project leaders and companies in the agro-industry and renewable energy sectors across Senegal and Burkina Faso. Developed by Positive Planet with the support of five local partners – Makesense Africa, Energy 4 Impact, Impact Hub, La Fabrique and Yeesal Agrihub – AGreenLab aims to provide solutions to challenges facing young entrepreneurs when setting up businesses in West Africa.
AGreenLab offers an incubation path that includes training, practice and integration into ecosystems. To further accelerate business growth, AGreenLab helps young entrepreneurs identify prospects for development and resolve strategic and operational issues.
From the pool of applicants, a cohort of 50 companies and project leaders will be selected to benefit from the support of AGreenLab over nine months. Equipped with the tools, structures and modelling to place their business on a sustainable growth trajectory, they will be sustained by professionals to launch their projects.
The beneficiaries will also gain access to an online platform facilitating networking with international investors, clients and marketing specialists, and enabling exchange of information between Africa and Europe. The entrepreneurs may also benefit from a unique financing mechanism, provided they can meet all requirements at the end of the process.
The call for applications is open from 19 October to 9 November 2020. To apply, you must fit the following criteria:
Nationality: Burkina Faso or Senegal
Age: between 18 and 35 years old
